The CFA Institute Research Challenge is a global competition that tests the equity research, investment report writing, and presentation skills of university students. What do you have to do? Initially, you have to write a research report on a company listed on DSE to determine whether you should buy, sell, or hold the shares of that company . Workshop on Capital Market

Capital market, also known as stock market, is one of the most promising areas of investment. It usually provides way more return than conventional bank deposits. Many of our students (that is, many of you) always wonder how to invest in stock market. To help you out, your university is going to organize a workshop, from which you can learn all those unanswered questions that you have been looking for a long time! On 3rd October at your university, a workshop/seminar on capital market will be held, with an aim to increase your financial literacy. Special focus will be given on stock market, and you will get guidelines from real professionals on what to do (and what not to do) when investing in the stock market. Model Test: Security Analysis & Portfolio Management

Not all courses are equally easy. BUS-4123 ( Security Analysis & Portfolio Management ) is one of those hard courses where students need some additional support. As a part of that support, we are going to arrange a model test, which will definitely prepare them for the final exam. Details:  Date: Tuesday, April 18. Extra Classes: Security Analysis & Portfolio Management

Several extra classes of BUS-4123 ( Security Analysis & Portfolio Management ) will be held on April 8, starting from 10:30 AM. For each 1 hour of class time, one attendance will be given. That is, two attendances for a 2-hour long class, three attendances for 3-hour long class, and so on.

Attendance

From now and onwards, students must write their SIGNATURE on the attendance sheet, in addition to their ID  and NAME . Forgetting to do so will not qualify the student to get the attendance of a class, even if s/he is present and the ID-NAME is clearly written. This rule is applicable for all ongoing courses .
