Training workshop on:

Data Processing and Automation with Python: Part 1: The Basics

Date: September 18, during the class.

Please keep the following two software installed and ready on your Windows PC / laptop. For Android users, see at the end of this page.

(1) Python 3.7 Runtime for Windows

Download 64-bit:

https://www.python.org/ftp/python/3.7.4/python-3.7.4-amd64.exe

Download 32-bit:

https://www.python.org/ftp/python/3.7.4/python-3.7.4.exe

At the beginning of installation, you will see a dialog box like this:

-- Select "Add Python 3.7 to PATH" (this is important).

-- Click "Install now". Do not click "Customize installation".

When the installation is done successfully, you have to install the 2nd software, described below.

(2) PyCharm by JetBrains for Windows

64-bit (version 2019.2):

https://download.jetbrains.com/python/pycharm-community-2019.2.3.exe

32-bit (version 2018.2):

https://download-cf.jetbrains.com/python/pycharm-edu-2018.2.exe

If the above links do not work, you may download the latest 64-bit version from this page:

Important: Install this software only after the successful installation of Python 3.7 runtime. Do not install this software without installing the Python 3.7 runtime.

For Android users only

Using an Android device for the labs of Chapter-6 is highly not recommended. For those who still want to rely on Android, following app may work:
