Inter-University Undergraduate Research Symposium (URS)

A private university at Dhaka is inviting the BBA students of all the public and private universities in Bangladesh, including the students of Fareast International University, to participate in a research symposium.

Areas of research: Accounting & AIS, Marketing, Economics, Management & HRM, and Finance & Banking.

If you want to participate, you have to write a research paper on a very specific topic in any one of the above-mentioned tracks. You may write an entirely new paper, or, if you already have a very good term paper (assignment /project) in one of those areas, you may “convert” it into a research paper. The abstract (summary) of your paper must be submitted on or before October 15, 2017. Full paper must be submitted before October 28.

If your major is Finance and you have already completed AT LEAST THREE OF THE FOLLOWING COURSES UNDER MR. SHAHED AHMMED WITH 75% OR MORE MARKS, you may get help and guidelines in preparing your research paper: 

• Corporate Finance
• Economic Development
• International Financial Management 
• Macroeconomics
• Management Science
• Portfolio Management
• Security Analysis & Portfolio Management

All the participants will be awarded with a certificate, which may be helpful in your career development.
