The CFA Institute Research Challenge is a global competition that tests the equity research, investment report writing, and presentation skills of university students. What do you have to do? Initially, you have to write a research report on a company listed on DSE to determine whether you should buy, sell, or hold the shares of that company . Later on, you also have to provide a presentation on your report. Students of BUS-4122 ( International Financial Management ) have to submit a project as a part of the course. Topic: Exchange rate forecasting based on fundamental method using computer program . Deadline: August 31, 2017. A practical class on this topic will be held on August 26 at 2:00 PM in the IT Lab . Bring your pen drive in the class, if possible. The class may continue for long hours. It is advised to have your lunch before the class.

A model test on BUS-4122 ( International Financial Management ) will be held very soon. Details here:  Date and time: August 16 AFTER the class. Syllabus: Mathematical problems of Chapter 4, 5, 7, and 8. Format: Mathematical problems similar to final exam questions. You will loose marks in this segment if you miss this exam.

From now on, students must write their roll number on the attendance sheet, along with their name, ID, and signature. Therefore, students must write all these 4 items on the attendance sheet:  Roll number Name ID Signature A student will not get the attendance marks if ALL of these four items are not written properly, even if s/he was present in the class. On May 31, the classes of BUS-1212 (Business Statistics) and BUS-4122 (International Financial Management) will not be held, because all faculty members and interested students will participate in a seminar to be held at National Museum . Students, who are wishing to participate, are requested to arrive at the university campus on or before 8:30 AM. Transportation facility will be provided. Each participating student will get one T-Shirt.
